World quantity two Daniil Medvedev has withdrawn from the Monte Carlo Masters after testing constructive for coronavirus.
The Russian has been positioned in isolation and will likely be monitored by the event doctor.
Second seed Medvedev had a first-round bye for the clay-court event, which started on Monday.
“My focus now’s on restoration and I stay up for getting again out on tour as quickly and as safely as attainable,” the 25-year-old mentioned.
Medvedev practised with world quantity three and 11-time Monte Carlo champion Rafael Nadal on Monday.
The Monte Carlo Masters takes place from 12-18 April.
